They didn’t know anyone was watching.
Three boys were praised by their city mayor after they were spotted on CCTV taking a duvet to a homeless man sleeping on a bench.
The trio of good Samaritans, Szymon, Wojtek and Marcin, were rewarded by the city of Nysa, in Poland, for their kind act, each given a smart watch as a thank you.
In the clip , the three boys are seen walking through the town centre with a bag carrying the huge cover between them.
They approach the bench, stop, unload their gift and wrap it around the sleeping homeless man.
They scoured the area for blankets when they came across someone getting rid of some old furniture
He was hugged and tucked in as the boys tried to help him stay warm
According to TVN24 , they hugged him as he thanked them for their kindness before they headed off.
The group told the network they had met the man and asked how they could help him, when he asked for some kind of blanket to keep the cold at bay.
They searched for somewhere to get hold of one and came across someone throwing out clean but old furniture and managed to take the duvet, which they brought back to him.
Szymon said: “We took the quilt for this gentleman. We hugged him. Thank you very much. He smiled and went to sleep. I am convinced that it was worth doing. If someone asks for help, he should give him a hand.”
The boys were spotted after city guards saw the CCTV footage
Kordian Kolbiarz, Mayor of Nysa met with the boys after their act of kindness in December, and rewarded them for it.
