In the Medical Science University of Iran, scientists made a study. They divide the participants into 2 groups. There were 88 women with extra weight problem. During the research, the women were given advice on healthy nutrition and were allowed to consume 500 calories a day. The only difference was that one group was also asked to include 3 grams of powdered cumin into their diet on a regular daily basis. These women mixed the cumin with 140 grams of yogurt and ate it every morning on an empty stomach. The second group also consumed yogurt but without cumin.

What was unbelievable was that the first group of women after a period of 1 month lost 14 pounds more than the second group. They lost 14.64 % fat and the second one only 4.91 % fat.
