• Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860; JKF in 1960.
• Both were concerned with civil rights.
• Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.
• Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy; Kennedy’s Secretary Name was Lincoln.
• Both were shot in the head on a Friday!
• Both were assassinated by Southerners.
• John Wilkes Booth, who killed Lincoln, was born in 1839; Lee Harvey Oswald, who killed Kennedy, was born in 1939.
• Lincoln was shot in a theater and the murderer ran to a warehouse and Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater!
